We are keeping our New Year Starter holiday under regular review, but it is highly unlikely that we will be able to run our usual programme of teaching and activities because of the current rules on households mingling and gatherings, so if we can run it at all, it may end up being a very different event.
It’s hard to imagine how we fit in social distancing at our New Year’s Eve dinner or during the party games! Sitting shoulder to shoulder with folks in the main hallway as we sing in the New Year or spinning at the ceilidh afterwards seems like a world away right now!
Because of this uncertainty we have decided not to take any further bookings or payments for now. However, you can add your name to a waiting list.
We will make our final decision about New Year Starter on or before 16 November and we will update our website and notify those who have booked as soon as possible. If we decide that we can run the holiday we will re-open bookings, with those on the waiting list being the first to be processed. If you have already booked, you can of course cancel at any time for a full refund. If we need to cancel, we will obviously offer you a full refund.
Many of you will also be wondering about our holiday programme for 2021. We intend to make a further announcement about this before the end of October, hoping that we can welcome you to Capernwray and worship together again!
