The Hall has retained a relaxed and homely feel to it, so before long our guests are treating it like their home. That’s how we like it!
The Lounge
With many comfortable seating areas, the Lounge is the best place to hang out and chat with other people, or read a book on your own.
When it’s wild and wet outside in winter, there is often a roaring fire, and a piano you are welcome to play.
The GAMES ROOM
Table Tennis, Pool, Table Football and Chess are set up for you to play, along with a selection of Board and card games.
The Library
There’s something very beautiful about a library with many books, and you can relax and be inspired by a great variety of Christian biographies, fiction and other interesting tomes. You can even study and print things there if you need to.
There is also a Quiet Room, perfect for reading, making notes or journalling in peace — with a wonderful view over the croquet lawn and often full of sunshine.
Indoor and outdoor sports
We have our own swimming pool you can use during your stay and in the purpose-built Sports Hall you can play football, basketball, cricket, hockey, volleyball and dodgeball. Outdoors, why not try netball, volleyball, croquet, putting, shuffleboard, tennis or outdoor chess?
You might just like to wander around the beautiful gardens or walk ‘the loop’ (a track which takes you through the whole grounds).
During your holiday some activities will be arranged, but you can also use the facilities in your free time if you like.
The Hall also has its very own indoor pool and sauna for you to use whilst you are here. They will be open at a number of different times during the week.
WiFi
Our 24/7 Wifi is available across the site and even outside. So you can catch up on your email, WhatsApp or FaceTime while you are on holiday … if you choose to!
LAUNDRY
We have coin-operated washing machines and tumble driers. Allow around £3.50 for a full load of washing and drying.
