The ‘Escape’ weeks are for adults and families to come away together and fill their days with great Bible teaching. Get away for a few days and enjoy Capernwray and its rural location and make this holiday as sporty or relaxing as you want it to be. There are friends to meet and fun to share for all ages throughout the whole day with a great range of exciting on-site facilities, activities and off-site options for everyone. There is plenty of time to relax with others, sit down and have a brew or join in with the activities. Full board is invaluable as you relax, turn up for meals and enjoy the great facilities we have to offer you.

If you want to explore the surrounding area there are plenty of family-friendly options to be found in the Lake District, Lancashire and Yorkshire. All of these areas, as well as our grounds, give plenty of opportunities to enjoy God’s wonderful creation.

This week will also include some local walks led by one of our team. Each walk will last for around four hours and will leave after the morning teaching session and return before the evening meal. A packed lunch will be provided and more information will be posted here soon.

The bible teaching sessions give adults time to worship together and to soak up & reflect on Scripture alongside other adults. At the same time the bible teaching sessions for the under 18’s will introduce them to Jesus, help them feel safe and grow in their confidence and let the young people discuss Christian truths, working through questions and issues they have.

If you are looking for a Christian holiday with time devoted to good Bible teaching with space for relaxation and time together then Capernwray is a great choice. Here are some of the benefits of our Escape Weeks:

  • Full-board accommodation
  • No washing up after your meals
  • Discounted prices up to age 17
  • Age-specific Bible teaching
  • Programme of activities for all ages
  • Evening programme for ages 7+
  • Under 1’s go for free
