Over the past ten days, Capernwray Bible School students have been supporting various churches (predominantly UK-based) with outreach work. We are so thankful to our church and ministry partners for providing amazing opportunities for the students to grow in their faith and experience what God is doing.
A particular highlight was being able to host several events at Capernwray Hall itself, in partnership with four local churches. We are thankful and blessed to serve our community and schools that surround the beautiful countryside near Capernwray and have received numerous very warm messages expressing gratitude.
As we approach the last week of Bible School we are excited to hear all the wonderful stories of encouragement from the students about their outreach experiences. As per our Mission Statement, it is our desire to equip men and women for service in the worldwide church through biblical teaching and practical training as we proclaim the transforming presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are also pleased to confirm that the Italy team (based in Milan, so not within the specific lockdown areas) having initially been isolated on a purely precautionary basis, going above and beyond what was actually required, have now returned to the main site. None have at any time displayed or reported any symptoms and we are keeping abreast of government guidance. As a site which welcomes guests from many nations, we will continue to monitor developments, follow best practice and have today updated all our students and staff members with the NHS guidelines on how to avoid catching and spreading germs.
