How to apply
We’re delighted you’re thinking about joining us at Capernwray. Applying takes five steps:
- Start with a few details about you. The first part of the form takes a few minutes to complete: name, contact details, and the school you’d like to join.
- Tell us your story so we can get to know you a little. The second part asks about your faith, your circumstances and any support needs. There are no wrong answers, and you can save your progress and come back whenever you like.
- Pay the £30 application fee and submit. The non-refundable fee is the final step before your application reaches us.
- We take it from there. We’ll confirm receipt straight away and be in touch within 5 working days. We may ask for a little more information to help us support you when you arrive. If all’s good, you’ll be provisionally accepted, pending references.
- References. We’ll ask for your referees’ details. Once both are received and approved, we’ll send your acceptance letter with everything you need for your next steps.
To start your application, click on the button below. You’ll be taken to the start of the application. The form is secure, you can save at any time, and you will receive a link to continue with your application.
We’ve moved to a new application system — what this means if you applied or started before 17 July
Our new application system is now live. All applications now run through it, and the old system has closed.
If you’ve already submitted your application, it has been moved across. Nothing is lost, and we’ll contact you directly about any remaining steps, such as references or payment.
If you’ve started but not yet submitted, and you’ve been active in the last 30 days, we’ll be in touch with instructions on how to complete your application in the new system.

Bible School Application Update
From 17 July, all Bible School applications will run through our new application system. The change makes communication clearer, next steps easier to follow, and progress simpler to track.

Frequently asked questions
Is my application safe?
Yes. Your information remains safe during the transition to the new system.
Will I lose my progress?
No. If you have already submitted your main application, we will move it to the new system.
If you started but did not submit your application, we will contact you directly with the next steps.
Do I need to apply again?
Most applicants will not need to start again. If any action is needed, we will contact you directly.
I already paid my application fee. Will that still count?
Yes. Existing payments connected to submitted applications will still be recognised.
I already submitted my reference request. Do I need to do it again?
Usually no. If we need anything further from you or your referee, we will contact you directly.
I haven’t used my application for a while. Can I still continue?

Can I still log into the old system?
