We want you to get the most out of the time that you are with us. We expect voluntary workers to contribute to essential parts of our life together, and gain you will personally gain from the many benefits of doing that.
First and foremost, as a Christian Bible School and Holiday centre, we strive for unity, courtesy, respect and harmony within our staff. As a result of this you will find that serving at Capernwray is such a rich and positive experience.
While living and serving at Capernwray, you are expected to engage fully in our community life. There will be opportunities to participate in prayer meetings and Bible studies, community worship and to attend a local church. In addition, you will also be invited to join Bible School lectures and programme activities when feasible. A support programme specifically for our voluntary workers includes a weekly gathering, Bible study, day trips, family groups, as well as a designated prayer partner.
As a voluntary worker, you will receive meals and dormitory accommodation. You will benefit from a wonderful community of people, pastoral support and encouragement, and we’ll do all we can to make sure you gain as much as you give from your time at Capernwray.
