It was with sadness that we heard today of the passing of another lovely Christian brother and longstanding Capernwray friend, Stuart Briscoe. The family released this statement yesterday: “It is with deep sadness we inform you that Stuart Briscoe died of natural causes unexpectedly during the evening of August 3. For many of you, he was preacher, pastor, mentor or friend. To us, he was ‘Stu’, ‘Dad’ and ‘Poppa’ and we already miss him achingly.”
We will be reflecting on Stuart’s life and Capernwray legacy in coming weeks, and in the meantime will be praying for Jill and the wider family and many friends around the world.
