How to apply
We’re delighted you’re thinking about joining us at Capernwray. To apply to attend Capernwray Bible School, all you have to do are four simple steps:
- Complete online application form
- Pay registration fee: A non-refundable fee of £30 is required to process your application
- Submit the required documents: provide necessary documents such as references as requested
- Confirmation and next steps: after submitting your application and fee, complete the remaining steps on the secure Torchbearers page
To start your application, click on the button below. You’ll be taken to a secure page at Torchbearers, our parent organisation.

Bible School Application Update
We are improving our Bible School application process to make communication clearer, next steps easier to follow, and progress tracking simpler.
If you already have an application in progress, your information remains safe. Most applicants will not need to do anything immediately and we will contact you directly if any action is needed.
From 24 June, all new Bible School applications will be submitted through our new application system.
What this means for you
- If you have already submitted your application: You do not need to start again. We will move your application into the new system and contact you with any remaining next steps, such as references or payments.
- If you started an application but did not submit it: From 8 July, the simplest option will usually be to continue in the new system. If you have already spent significant time completing your application and would like us to review whether your information can be transferred, contact admissions@capernwray.org before 3 July.
- If you applied some time ago but have not been active recently: You can continue your application. If you would like us to review whether your existing information can be moved into the new system, please contact us before 3 July.
- Applying after 8 July: All new applications will use the new application process only.
Why are we changing systems?
We want the application experience to be clearer and easier to follow. The new system will help applicants:
- track progress more easily
- receive clearer communication
- complete the next steps more smoothly

Frequently asked questions
Is my application safe?
Yes. Your information remains safe during the transition to the new system.
Will I lose my progress?
No. If you have already submitted your main application, we will move it to the new system.
If you started but did not submit your application, we may ask you to restart in the new system for the smoothest experience.
Do I need to apply again?
Most applicants will not need to start again. If any action is needed, we will contact you directly.
I already paid my application fee. Will that still count?
Yes. Existing payments connected to submitted applications will still be recognised.
I already submitted my reference request. Do I need to do it again?
Usually no. If we need anything further from you or your referee, we will contact you directly.
I started an application but didn’t finish it. What should I do?
From 8 July, the easiest option will usually be to continue in the new system. If you have already entered a large amount of information and would like us to review whether it can be transferred, contact Admissions (admissions@capernwray.org, +44 (0)1524 733908) before 3 July.
I haven’t used my application for a while. Can I still continue?
Yes. If you would like us to review whether your information can be moved into the new system, contact Admissions (admissions@capernwray.org, +44 (0)1524 733908) before 3 July.
Can I still log into the old system?
For a short period, yes. You may still be able to view existing information during the transition period, but all active application steps will move to the new system.
