We are grateful for all the people who regularly remember the work, staff, guests and students in prayer.
Bible School
- As Spring Bible School comes to an end, we praise God for His faithfulness. Thank Him for the Spirit’s work in deepening the students’ understanding of His Word and rooting them in the love of Christ.
- Pray for the students as they return home. That they would continue walking closely with Jesus, equipped and eager to live out what they’ve received here.
- We thank God for the number of returning alumni and guests who encourage us with their stories of God’s goodness in their lives and witness
- Pray that the gospel will be made visible in the lives of all here in community as we share life together to glorify the Lord.
- Pray for folks around the world who are weighing God’s leading to come to Bible School, that if this is His plan, that He will make it clear to those to apply.
Holidays
- Pray for our upcoming summer holidays, that the preparations would be smooth and guided by God’s hand.
- Pray for the speakers, worship leaders, and activity teams as they prepare to serve — that they would be Christ-centred in all they do.
- Ask for strength, joy, and unity for the full- and part-time staff, as well as the many volunteers who will help lead, host, and care for guests.
- Pray that each guest will experience a powerful encounter with Jesus, and that they leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and closer to God.
- Pray that Capernwray would be a place of safety, fun, friendship, and faith – where guests feel welcomed, loved, and drawn deeper into life with God.
Other
- We’re grateful to be hosting the Torchbearers International Staff Conference this week. Please pray for unity, refreshment, encouragement and vision as staff gather to encourage one another and seek God’s direction together. Pray that this time of fellowship and teaching would be filled with the Spirit, strengthening our shared mission across the Torchbearer centres worldwide.
- That God will stir the hearts of those who would come to join our short-term volunteers for spring and summer holidays, and that He will provide for our needs as He blesses and continues to transform those who will come.
- Pray for continued healthy relationships with our local churches, we would serve them well, both as individual members and also as a community. We value their partnership.
- We are very thankful for the current team of one-year volunteers (Ministry Assistants) who are energetic to serve, learn and lead.
- We praise God for our donors and supporters and thank Him for knowing our needs and providing according to His riches and will.
