New for 2026: Equipped with the Arts

Have you still got that creative spark? Or has it gone down to embers somewhere between the day job and everything else?

Equipped with the Arts is a new strand running through the Equipped week, designed to get you going again or to boost your creative fire with solid biblical teaching and creative workshops.

Mornings bring teaching worth writing or painting about, with Claudia Proudlove on Ruth and Paul Baxendale on Daniel.

Creative workshops:

Afternoons are yours to be creative. A writing workshop with Tony Bower, a published Christian author across print and stage, exploring script, narrative or poetry. And for visual expression, Claire Bower, a visual artist specialising in outdoor sculpture and book illustration, is here to share her expertise.

By Thursday, you’ll have made something: a poem, a page, a sketch, a story. Friday morning, we put it all up and see what six creative days can do.

Come with a spark, or come with embers. Either way, you’ll leave with solid teaching and something to express what it means.

“So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

– 2 Timothy 3:17
